WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?
Hypnotic Trance is the simple shifting back and forth between the conscious and sub-conscious mind. This spontaneous process actually can occur 80% of any day. The only difference with hypnosis is that your Hypnotist will lead you into that state purposefully and utilizing it to help you achieve your goals. WHAT WILL MY HYPNOSIS APPOINTMENT BE LIKE?
You will begin by talking with your Hypnotist, to discuss the changes you wish to make. You will then be guided into a comfortable relaxing trance state, which will allow us to communicate to your sub-conscious mind, with a focus on the changes that we have previously discussed. Most of our clients describe it as an enjoyable experience, and leave their sessions feeling much better than when they arrived. It is a deeply calming and relaxing experience. Many people find it inspiring, emotionally fulfilling and transforming.

WHAT IF I CAN'T BE HYPNOTIZED?
Everyone is hypnotizable. For example, when you are driving on a highway and you, accidentally, drive right past your exit, your mind has actually gone into a temporary trance-like state. The only difference with hypnosis is that we are leading you into that state for a specific purpose. Most of the time, when someone believes they cannot be hypnotized, that belief comes from a lack of knowledge of what hypnosis is, or a fear of loss of control. Some people go into a trance more easily than others, and some can do it more quickly than others. Some people have a 'gift' for hypnosis, and some need a little time to learn the skill. With our experienced and professional approach, we can help you either way.
CAN YOU COMPLETELY TAKE AWAY MY CONTROL?
No. In fact, hypnosis is a state of heightened awareness and self-control. The hypnotist does not take over control of the client's mind - it is more of a collaboration. Think of the hypnotist as a guide...the hired help. Assuming you trusted that guide, you'd go the way they suggest, in order to get what YOU want, and get your money's worth...after all, you are paying your Hypnotist/guide for her expertise and guidance.
WILL I QUACK LIKE A DUCK? More than likely you have, at some time in your life, scene a demonstration of "Stage Hypnosis". That Hypnotist uses techniques to weed out the most suggestible individuals, who actually enjoy being asked to do silly things. Those individuals perform as they do, because they are in agreement to do so.
CAN I GET STUCK IN HYPNOSIS?
As was previously mentioned, everyone goes in and out of trance every day. It is a naturally occurring state, and it naturally goes away if it is not ended purposefully. Should your hypnotist leave and go on a vacation, in the middle of a session, you would simply wake up or simply drift into a natural sleep and wake up when you feel like it. Have you ever heard of anyone showing up in an Emergency Room, because they are stuck in Hypnosis?
CAN I BE FORCED TO DO SOMETHING AGAINST MY WILL?
Absolutely NOT. Study after study has shown that people in a trance state will not act at odds with their moral code. You will be aware while in a trance state. Our job, as hypnotists, is to ensure that every suggestion is congruent with what you want for yourself. That means you can accept those suggestions easily and comfortably. Hypnosis can't make you do something against your will.
Hypnosis is no substitute for medical care and Hypnosis should be used in conjunction with your medical care - not in place of it.
